Check out the new website at

I've set it up to be a platform for new work only, an in particular to document the development of the personal project for 3rd year. I'll probably use the Pages on the top left to archive more polished work and keep the blog format for developmental stuff.

object revisited.

Some old images from the chair project last year that never got scanned in.

The prep and research for object was wonderful, and could perhaps be a project worth revisiting, I had a pretty complex idea about a constantina book depicting Carlos Drummond de Andrades poem 'Quadrilha', a ditty on serially unrequited love and the inevitably mundane fate of all involved.

I think if we had had the object brief this year we would have all come up with much more polished end results. Upon reflection that's probably been the thing we've learnt to do best this year; polish.

Highly recommend the Ida Kar exhibition currently on at the National Portrait Gallery, particularly if you're keen to brush up one 20th century masters, because trust me, Kar photographed them all. Beautifully.
